one reason could be that pollinators, like bees and other insects, see flowers differently

they see a broader spectrum of light than humans do, and especially ultraviolet light

some flowers show interesting patterns in UV light that help the insects find the nectar and pollen more easily

why have so many early spring flowering plants yellow or white flowers?

is it to match our spring and easter spirit?

another reason might be that bees spot white and yellow flowers the best

so when they wake up from hibernation they are still a bit slow to catch up and nature makes it easy for them

on another note: bees cannot see colors in the red spectrum very well...

beautiful reds, blues and purples are also to be found early spring...

Lavaux, Switzerland inspires me with its plants, flowers and vineyards... Our vineyard was planted around 2010. Since last year we have started to cultivate it.
